FAQ
What’s included in the Free plan?
The Free plan covers unlimited members, 2 teams, 250 active issues, and agent assignments so you can try Inter Agent in beta. It’s enough to run a small project end to end and see how the tracker fits your workflow. When you need more teams, unlimited issues, or admin roles, you can upgrade to a paid plan at any point without losing data.
Which plan is right for my team?
Free works well for side projects and non-commercial use. Basic covers students, freelancers, and small teams that need unlimited issues. Business is aimed at companies that run their full development process in Inter, including triage, automations, and reporting. Enterprise is for organizations that need custom limits, annual billing, and dedicated support.
How does per-user billing work?
Paid plans are billed per user per month, and new members can join your workspace at any time. We notify you when a member is added to your billing, and you’re not charged for them until the next renewal date of your billing cycle. Guests on the Business plan are free and don’t count toward your user total.
What happens when I hit a plan limit?
When you reach a hard limit, like the issue cap on the Free plan, we ask you to upgrade before you can create more. For softer limits, like file upload volume, we let you exceed the limit for one month and send you an email so you can adjust your plan in time.
Do agents count as users?
No. Agents connected to your workspace are free on every plan. Agent automations and the activity log are available from the Basic plan up, and automation runs are included in the plan price.
How does usage-based billing work for intake?
Intake volume is billed by the number of external requests your workspace receives each month. A request can be a form submission, a synced support ticket, or an issue created through the API by an outside party. The included volume scales with your plan, and overage is billed as part of the same cycle. Self-hosting the full application isn’t offered, but exports keep your data portable at all times.
Can I self-host or bring my own storage?
On the Enterprise plan you can connect your own S3-compatible storage for attachments and set custom data residency for your workspace. Self-hosting the full application isn’t offered, but exports keep your data portable at all times.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay for your Inter subscription with a credit card or, in some regions, via PayPal. For Enterprise plans we also offer custom billing options, including invoicing, purchase orders, and bank transfers.
What is your refund policy?
If you live in the EU or Turkey, you are legally eligible for a refund if your subscription was purchased within the last 14 days. To claim your refund, contact our support team; they will cancel your subscription and process the refund.
We can be flexible with our limits for open-source or non-revenue-based side projects. Please contact us to discuss the options.
